Hollywood star Timothee Chalamet revealed his love for Ligue 2 side Saint-Etienne and sang the team's anthem to the cast of Dune: Part Two.

During an appearance on French TV ahead of the release of the latest Dune film, the Wonka actor was handed a Saint-Etienne scarf and soon after he broke into song – much to the amusement and confusion of his cast members. The Los Angeles resident, who inherited his passion for the club from his French father, then made a request to the TV show's presenter, asking if he could get the people responsible for uploading highlights of Ligue 2 matches to put them on the platform quicker.

The Hollywood actor, 28, said on French TV show Quotidian: "I have a request to make to the Ligue 2 BKT YouTube channel: put up the goals and results a little faster.
"They're waiting for all the games to end, I don't know why, show me the highlights. I'm in Los Angeles, I'm waiting for that,

Saint-Etienne are the joint-third most successful French side with Lyon with 22 titles. Only Marseille (27) and Paris Saint-Germain (48) have picked up more silverware in French football. Yet they are seventh in Ligue 2 and are trying to fight their way back to the French top-flight.
