What a season Odsonne Edouard is having at Celtic Park. The Frenchman has been banging in the goals, left, right and centre, and Saturday afternoon was no different.
Despite seeing Celtic go 1-0 up thanks to a penalty from Callum McGregor, it was Edouard’s introduction from off the bench that really lit the blue touch paper. The striker headed home from a corner with his first touch, before adding a second just minutes later to help seal a 3-0 victory.
The brace means he has now taken his tally for the season to 19, and Neil Lennon was quick to hail him as one of the club’s best players over the past 20 years.

And after seeing his performance, Celtic fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the centre-forward, with a couple even mentioning his name in the same breath as Henrik Larsson.
A couple of Celtic supporters admitted that they “dread” to think where they would be without Edouard in their side.
Another couple of fans insisted that Edouard is now better than Dembele, with one supporter in particular describing his feet as “magic”.
One fan of the Scottish side revealed that they feel Edouard could be on his way out of the club “sooner rather than later” and that they will miss him when he goes.
Edouard’s influence and impact on this Celtic side just cannot be under-estimated. The Frenchman has led the line with aplomb this season, and has been one of the big reasons behind why the Bhoys are still firmly in the race to retain their Scottish Premiership crown.
